Eligible Applicants Able to join the company in April 2025 and expected to graduate from a university by March 31, 2025.
Alternatively, able to join the company in October 2025 and expected to graduate from a university by September 30, 2025.
(Students from any faculty or department are eligible to apply.)
Japanese language skills: Business level or higher
Skills Required at the Time of Hire
(Reference Level)
1. TOEIC points 750, Eiken grade Pre-1 or higher
2. English language skills: Intermediate level or higher, and
  System Department:Programming skill
  Accounting Department:Microsoft Office/Google Workspace applications skill, Nissho Bookkeeping Level 3 or higher
  E-Commerce Department:Microsoft Office/Google Workspace applications skill
3. English language skills: Intermediate level or higher
4. English language skills: Intermediate level or higher
Work Location Course 1 & 2: Kisarazu Warehouse (initial training) , Kisarazu Home Office
Course 3 & 4: Assigned warehouse or depot in Japan
(Changes in scope of working location:Business locations determined by Costco.)
Working Hours Course 1 & 2: Shift-based working at a warehouse (actual working hours of 7.5 hours/day) ,
       Home Office's standard working hours is 9:00 - 18:00 (staggered working hours arrangement is available)
Course 3 & 4: Shift-based working (actual working hours of 7.5 hours/day)
Holidays, Vacations, and Leave of Absence 5-day workweek, 120 days of annual company holidays
Annual paid vacation (10 days after 6 months of continuous employment), paid sick leave, maternity leave, child nursing leave, child care leave (many cases of male employees taking long-term childcare leave), nursing care leave, special leave etc.
Monthly Wage Min.¥260,000 per month (Non-managerial positions are paid at an hourly rate, starting rate is ¥1,500 per hour)
*Overtime is fully paid for all overtime hours worked. No deemed or fixed overtime pay.
Pay Rise Automatic pay rise system
Receive a pay rise every 1,000 worked hours (about every 6 months) until you reach the top rate.
Bonus Twice-a-year extra check as per company policy
Insurance Welfare pension insurance, health insurance, labor insurance, workers' accident compensation insurance, life insurance, long-term disability insurance etc.
Benefits Overtime pay, life design premium (401k), commuting by car/motorbike is allowed, commuting allowance as per company policy, Costco membership card (Executive Membership), coupons (optical, hearing aid, pharmacy) and holiday voucher etc.
Training Program New graduate training, new hire orientation, OJT (1-on-1 on the job training), New graduate follow-up training,
Department training, Manager training (upon promotion), Management-In-Training for Assistant Warehouse Manager candidates etc.
Selection Process Course 1 & 2: Aptitude tests, English tests, Calculation test, Excel test, 3-day warehouse internship,
       online group discussion, multiple interviews
Course 3 & 4: Aptitude tests, English tests, 3-day warehouse internship, multiple interviews
* Number of interviews will depend on the hiring course.
